Braves: It’s obvious Jazz Chisholm wants to come to Atlanta

Braves legend Kelsey Wingert sat down with one of Eastern Newfoundland’s other budding non-Braves superstars, Jazz Chisholm Jr., yesterday to ask him some trivial questions on several topics . However, while the interview was lighthearted, it’s fair to say that Chisholm is very fond of Atlanta…and Ronald Acuña.

It’s safe to say that Jazz Chisholm Jr. is a fan of Ronald Acuña Jr. pic.twitter.com/RekuyBMjJS

Not only did Chisholm say Acuña was his favorite player and the guy with the best swagger in baseball, but he also said his favorite place to play was Atlanta because of the atmosphere at Truist Park. Once again, I have to pay tribute to the Braves fans. It’s the best in baseball and there’s no better nightlife than Truist Park.

But back to the topic at hand – Chisholm is one of baseball’s bright young stars. He’s already racked up 2.2 WAR for the Marlins, breaking 13 homers to go along with 11 interceptions. He also has five more years of team control after this one. There’s no way the Marlins will trade him, is there?

Probably not; however, Miami recently held a team meeting because not everyone on the team likes Jazz Chisholm. As the Fish continue to lose, things will only get worse and tough decisions will have to be made. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Marlins end up trading him; unfortunately, moving him within the division is highly unlikely.

But who knows? The Fish are notorious for making some stupid moves in the past.
