In keeping with Broadway’s longstanding tradition of giving back to the community while on tour, the cast members of the Landmark Theater’s upcoming production of CATS have chosen to support CNY Jazz with an exclusive cabaret show. The show is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, April 25 in the ballroom at Mohegan Manor in Baldwinsville. Admission is $35 for VIP ringside seating including a post-show meet and greet, $20 in advance and $25 at the door, available by emailing [email protected] or by calling the mansion at 315-935-6866.

The show features 20 performers, virtually the entire cast of the show, and includes Dominic Fortunato, a Syracusan native and Westhill High School graduate who studied at Syracuse City Ballet. Musical director Jonathan Gorst will accompany on the piano.

The cast promises “an evening of songs spanning styles from Broadway’s Golden Age to the present day.” According to Gorst, “We consider it extremely important to take every opportunity to help other arts organizations by presenting cabaret concerts and donating the proceeds. This is only the second opportunity we have had to do this kind of outreach, due to our demanding touring schedule. We hope this will bring tangible benefits to CNY Jazz by providing a wonderful evening for all attendees.

The cast includes Kellyann DeCarlo, Lauren Louis, Carolyn Bacon, Brianna Kim, Megan Arseneau, Indalecio De Jesus Valentin, Kayli Jamison, Christopher Salvaggio, Elana Valastro, Tony Mowatt, Sean McManus, Jose Raul Mangual, Dominic Fortunato, Tayler Harris, Brian Craig Nelson, Gracie Anderson, Lexy Bittner, Zach Bravo, Michelle Carter and Vinny Andaloro.

“We are still very grateful that CATS has chosen our organization to present what will be a powerful show by some of the best and brightest young performers in the world,” said Larry Luttinger, Head of CNY Jazz. “This will help shine a light on our urban youth programs, our downtown public health concert series, and performances of all kinds at our Jazz Central theater, among others.”
