Fulton Summer Concert Series Ongoing Lakeside, Riverside – Oswego County Today
The City of Fulton’s summer concert series is underway with a wide variety of performers coming to lakeside and riverside venues this year, said Chris Waldron, director of parks and recreation for Fulton. .
“Whether you want to hear the Fulton Community Band in Bullhead Point or enjoy breakout performances by artists like Alan Howe at the Riverside Canal Landing Gazebo, we have what you’re looking for,” said Fulton Mayor Deana Michaels. “It’s a summer tradition that we’re building on to make this year one of the best ever.”
The program is a joint effort of the City of Fulton Parks and Recreation Department, the Fulton Community Band and the Fulton Music Association.
The series began on June 30 with the Fulton Community Band’s first concert at Bullhead Point. Bullhead Point Thursday concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. and Canal Landing Gazebo Friday concerts begin at 6:30 p.m.
Canal Landing Gazebo: August 8, Alan Howe and Swing Set; August 15, Joe Cortini with Vanessa Vaconti; August 22, Mark Wahl; August 29, Fulton Dixieland Band; August 11-13, Fulton Jazz Fest; August 19, Drew Freck; August 26, Fulton Dixieland Band.
Bullhead Point Pavilion Fulton Community Band Concerts: July 14 and 28; August 11, opening of the Fulton Jazz Fest; August 18 and 25, Fulton Community Band.
“While some seating is available, we encourage all attendees to bring their own lawn chairs,” Waldron said. “We look forward to a sunny, musical summer by the lake and river here in Fulton.”
