Lady Gaga will perform in London
Lady Gaga is about to bring her biggest solo show to the UK.
Lady Gaga was originally scheduled to take the stage at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London in 2020 as part of her ‘Chromatica’ world tour in 2020, but it was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and then the rescheduled date of July 2021 was still unable to arrive so the concert was put on hold.
However, she is now set to announce that the gig at the venue – which has a capacity of 62,850 people – has finally been revamped and it is expected to be so popular that her team is considering adding a second night.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Lady Gaga hasn’t performed in the UK for ages, so it will be huge for her fans to see her back on UK soil. She was supposed to be the headline-grabber. of the venue in 2020, but it was scrapped due to Covid, so everyone will be happy to hear it’s finally happening.
“The past few years have been so incredible for Gaga’s career that a second date is also on the cards.”
Lady Gaga was supposed to tour the UK in 2018 but only played two shows in Birmingham before canceling the rest of her gigs due to ‘severe pain’.
Gaga hasn’t had a solo show in London since 2014.
While it’s unclear when the rearranged date will take place, Gaga recently announced that she will be celebrating “her love of the Great American Songbook” with another “Jazz & Piano” residency at the famed Dolby Live Park MGM hotel and casino in Last Vegas in April and May, three years after its original concert series in the city.
Lady Gaga will perform songs from her acclaimed second album as a duet with jazz icon Tony Bennett, “Love For Sale.”
Some residency dates had to be put on hold in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The new series kicks off on April 14 and ends on May 1.
