Live Cams: Watch the last surf of the XL season for Nazaré, rest of Europe
Just in time to end the big wave season in the northern hemisphere, a pair of extra-large swells from the northwest will land on Nazare and the rest of Europe before the end of the month. The first swell peaks on Saturday afternoon, while the second arrives early next week with a peak expected on Tuesday. No XXL record will be called into question by the swells expected before the end of the month, but they should still provide some thrills before the North Atlantic closes its shop. While an XL swell in April is not unheard of, the odds will drop dramatically after next week – those next two hits will likely be the last big wave salute from the North Atlantic until October.
