OHL spectators must be vaccinated
Fans across the province will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 if they are to attend an Ontario Hockey League game.
The OHL announced on Friday that its vaccination policy will be expanded to include all spectators and other participants at all league events, including games and practices, effective October 7.
The OHL already requires that all players, coaches, coaches, team and league staff, officials, volunteers and host families be fully immunized.
Anyone wishing to enter an OHL facility for one of the 17 Ontario-based teams must provide full proof of vaccination and follow all safety protocols while in the facility.
Children under 12 are not yet eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, so they must be accompanied and supervised by a fully vaccinated adult.
